Happy birthday Bailey!!!!

Today Bailey turned 8, how time flies by so quickly. I could remember when she was just our little baby. She was probably the best baby a mom could ask for. Maybe that should have been my first sign for when she grew older. LOL..... Yes they grow out of the baby stages. Well I could not imagine life without Bailey Rose, she is so much fun and quite the character. I should have written a book of all the crazy, funny, and when she has just left me speechless! She is so special to us and We Count our blessings for bringing us so much joy into our lives.

This year christmas was so special. We had our first xmas in our new home. I loved decorating the house and having family time. We had a gingerbread house party with some friends. they each decorated a house per family and that was a great time. Some of the kids ate more than decorating but they all turned out really cute. My mom and dad had their kids family party with santa. It was great to see some friends and family we don't get to see to often. Hannah learned that Ho Ho (that whats she calls him) was not so bad. He is her new found best friend. Wes and Bailey had a good xmas they did not ask for much and appreciated what the had. Syd loved to play with the boxes and was sad to see them go. Pat played with the kids music instrament on play station for hours. I think santa must have known thats what he really wanted!!!! lol. Every year xmas seems to remind me of how great life is! I love spending it with family.......

Every year we put up our tree the day after thanksgiving! The kids decided dad needed their help testing all the lights on the tree. Pat puts all the light on the tree first then we can all decorate it pretty!!!

Congratulations to Bailey. This year she did the Wrangler Junior Rodeo Association. Wow! she did very well for her first year. All year long she was up against some tuff little cowgirls and she made it her goal to do well and bring home a saddle. We met alot of great people who we now hold dear to our hearts. Bailey loves her new found "cowgirl friends" and looks forward to seeing them soon!

End of year results. 1st in barrels 1st in poles 1st in goats and 3rd in dummy roping!!

NOVEMBER UPDATES!!

Ok....Ok... so it has been awhile since I last updated. Lets start with Moving Day. We have finaly moved into our home, I love it so much. Amazing how everything now has it's place. Wes decorated his room in blue. His walls are a light blue and ceiling is a night sky. We plan to have the solar system and stars up there. Bailey has a cowgirl room with her favorite collectables. Hannah and Syd, have pink and brown girly girl room..... All the kids are loving there new found space!!

IT'S GREAT TO BE ONE

Sydney turned one year today. How time flies by so fast. I can't believe my baby is 1. She is the only kid who is a mama's girl. It's really great to finally have a child who does not act like they don't know who you are after dad comes home. We love to cuddle and play. Syd just now is learning to walk, she takes 10 or so steps then sits down and wants to be picked up. I know she is too spoiled. She is finally sleeping through the night, we have had many talks in the middle of the night how mommy really needs her sleep. For 11 mos. her schedule was bed at 8 then up at 12:30 then up again around 3:30 then up again at 5:30-6:00 when Dads alarm wakes her up. Her smile makes me melt inside. She is a sweety. We celebrated at the new house with cake and pizza. The cake was a hit. she must get the love of birthday cakes from me. My parents and sisters drove intown. (gotta love a supportive family, priceless) Brad and Kristy came over with their munchkins (Hannahs boyfriend Braiden. and Alexee pooo. Oh yeah, and Baby Carter coming any day now.) thanks everyone! A new year of learning and growing is ahead of us, I just wish it would not go by so fast................I love you Baby Girl.

OUR LITTLE CHEERLEADER!

Hannah loves to cheer for her BIG sissy or BIG brother. She is their biggest fan! GO Bay-whoe or Go Bubba as she cheers them along. The crowd definitely knows who Hannah is before the event is done. Her personality is awesome. she says hi to everyone and hugs all children (rather they want her to or not) Hannah's little trick is she loves to wink at you. Specially if you are the grandfather type. I definitely have my hands full with her but she is so worth it. I love you Hannah Banana!

A SUNSET TO REMEMBER

Last week or so I was having a bad day. I was very tired and stretched to my limit. (you ever have a day where everything makes you cry?) I had so much to complain about and why me attitude. I prayed to Heavenly Father, "please lord why cant life be simple? Please have something go right today" Later that day nothing had changed then.. life threw one of ahh haa moments at me. My wonderful son had grabbed my hand and led me to the front yard swing. He told me to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset Heavenly Father had made for me. Wes knows that one of my favorite things is a beautiful sunset! There I sat with all 4 kids in silence. How precious it was to me that I realized Life is really great and I just need to slow down and enjoy god's blessings in life. So every time you see a beautiful sunset, take the time and relax and reflect on how great your life really is. (yes I took this picture.... this is the actual sunset)

BATH TIME!

HANNAH'S NEW FAVORITE PAST TIME IS TAKING A BATH. WE HAVE TO SPELL THE WORD OUT SO SHE WON'T UNDERSTAND. IF YOU SAY THE WORD AT ALL SHE RUNS AND TAKES OFF ALL OF HER CLOTHES AND SITS IN THE TUB. YOU CAN'T LEAVE HER ALONE FOR A MINUTE SHE WILL UNDRESS IN A FLASH. ITS NICE TO HAVE A CHILD WHO WANTS TO BE CLEAN BUT WOW, I DON'T THINK THE ENTIRE BATHROOM NEEDS A BATH TOO.

HERE IS MY DAD WITH HANNAH, SYD AND COUSIN HAILEY! HE SURE LOVES TO ROCK THE GIRLS NOW THAT BAILEY IS OLDER SHE DOESN'T LIKE TO SNUGGLE AS MUCH. HE IS THE BEST GRANDPA EVER. WE ARE SO LUCKY TO HAVE HIM. SPOILING THEM ROTTEN IS HIS NEW HOBBY IN LIFE. AMANDA SAYS HE HAS TO WAIT UNTIL HAILEY IS 6MOS. OLD BEFORE HER FIRST ICE CREAM TREAT. I HATE TO TELL YOU BUT TOO LATE SISSY HA HA HANNAH IS ADDICTED TO PAPA SHE HAS TO SEE HIM AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK IF NOT HE WILL DRIVE ALL THE WAY JUST TO SEE THE KIDS. IF I DON'T CALL WITH AN UPDATE OH MAN. I AM IN FOR IT. I KNEW HE LOVED BEING A FATER BUT A "GRANDPA" IS HIS TRUE CALLING. THANKS DAD FOR LOVING US SO MUCH!!

AMANDA AND PATRICK HAD THEIR BABY ON JUNE 26, SHE WEIGHED 5LBS 6OZ. THEY NAMED HER HAILEY SUE HALLIGAN. SHE IS A CUTIE. THEY ARE GREAT PARENTS AND ARE ADJUSTING WELL. AMANDA GETS KINDA GRUMPY WITH NO SLEEP THOUGH. PAT HAS HAD PRACTICE WITH HANNAH AND SYD! WE STARTED HIM OUT KINDA EARLY. IF THEY DID NOT SCARE HIM THEN FROM HAVING KIDS THEN HE IS MEANT FOR FATHERHOOD. DO US HAFEN GIRLS HAVE CUTE KIDS OR WHAT!!!!
